What is Homecoming?
It doesn’t have anything to do with football, sorry…
It’s an annual event where our ministries share the incredible work that they will being doing in the coming year. Sure, as an Episcopal Cathedral we hold weekly worship services, but what we are and stand for, is tied to the work of these ministries.
What work do you do? And what are ministries?
We have over 80 groups of people who participate in various work. They vary from giving food/clothing to our unsheltered neighbor to choir programs for our youth. We call these ministries, and you don’t have to attend St. Paul’s to get involved with one. Some of the ministries that will attend Homecoming will include:
- Showers of Blessings (unsheltered neighbor outreach)
- Sacred Ground in Action (racial reconciliation and education)
- Simpler Living (environmental justice)
- Voices of our City Choir (all age choir program for unsheltered neighbors)
- St. Paul’s Chorister Program (our choir program for youth)
Can I attend Homecoming?
Absolutely! Homecoming isn’t just for St. Paul’s members, it’s for everyone! If you are reading this, YOU ARE INVITED! It’s FREE to attend and FREE refreshments will be provided. Come check out the work that’s being done at St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral!

- 8 am – Worship Service
- 9 am – Refreshments / Meet Our Ministries
- 10:30 am – Worship Service
- 12:30 pm – Meet Our Ministries
- 5 pm – Musical Worship Service
- 6 pm – Light Dessert Refreshments
