Evensong

The service of Evensong has been called the "crown jewel" of the Anglican tradition. It is a musical, prayerful and meditative service and a wonderful way to end the day and prepare for the busy week ahead. Evensong uses, with minor modification, the liturgy and language of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, still the official version used in cathedrals and churches in Britain. (On the first Sunday of each month, Evensong is followed by a free organ recital.)

St. George's Day

All are welcome to join St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral for this annual celebration. The service begins with the procession around the Cathedral with the Cameron Highlanders Pipe Band and Scottish dancers. Representatives and groups of the territories of the United Kingdom join us and the slain dragon - made of bread! The service continues with glorious music in the grandest style of Anglican worship sung by the Cathedral Choristers accompanied by organ, brass and timpani. A sumptuous "High Tea" follows in the Cathedral's Great Hall.
