Excuse our dust folks. This page is under construction. The Cathedral Newsletter, named The Clarion, is going electric. That is, we will present the next Clarion on this page as an e-mail newsletter. It will feature content you won’t find on the website or weekly bulletins. For those who don’t have computers copies of the “electric Clarion” will be printed off in the Cathedral Office and made available on a table in the church narthex.
By making the Clarion an e-mail newsletter we can be timelier in the news and articles we report and can even bring you breaking stories whenever the need arises as we did following Katrina’s path of destruction through the Gulf States. Links to other parts of the website for schedules and announcements or to “Sign Us Up” for classes and events will appear in the new Clarion. Canon Andrew Rank will continue as editor. Production is under the direction of Cathedral member Susan Rust and Richard Wagner of Green Bird Media. eMail Networks will handle the electronic mailing for us.
We would like your comments on our new website, Electronic Clarion and our forthcoming weekly e-Bulletin as well as our Sunday announcements. You can follow Dean Richardson’s suggestion of telling us what you like, don’t like, and are still thinking about. You know, “Yes, No, and Hmmmm.” Send your comments via e mail to communications@stpaulcathedral.org We want to hear from you. Remember, to find this week’s schedule of events you can always click Our Sunday Bulletin or Events Calendar on the website. You will also receive a simple, weekly eBulletin when that page is ready.
We want to thank David Edlund who moved to LaQuinta California in mid-October. David gave our printed Clarion a professional look and devoted many hours of volunteer time to supervising the production, printing and mailing of the newsletter. We miss him, and wish him well. |
