Our Nursery
We have a fresh bright nursery in the undercroft for infants through age four. You can leave the little ones there before Eucharist begins and pick them up afterwards.
Godly Play For Children Over Four
Beginning September 12, we have a program for telling the children "stories of God." All children from 4 to 10 are welcome! Bring your children to the Chapel (an usher will be happy to direct you if you have any questions) right before the 10:30 service begins. In a little procession, the children follow the cross through the church and up to the Atrium in the Upper Room where they have their activities. About an hour later, they are returned to their parents in church during the passing of the peace. We are very grateful to our small team of volunteer teachers who cycle through with the children, telling Scripture stories, the nature of our Liturgical Year, and praying with them. Cathedral Teens
Our youth group is for those 13-18 years of age. The meetings alternate between Sunday mornings during the main worship service and Sunday evenings. Interesting topics are discussed, sleep-ins, service projects, trips, and movies centered around building faith, friendship while having fun are just a small part of our objectives.
Cathedral Teens participate in Bible study, group discussions on topics of interest, service projects (such as food boxes for families), and recreational activities and meals. Retreats are often jointly sponsored with teens from All Souls Episcopal Church, Point Loma.
