Program Ministries

Center for the Performing and Visual Arts
The Center is a venue for a variety of Cathedral arts programs. We believe that the arts enable everyone to encounter the holy and draw closer to the heart of God. The committee has produced several major and short plays, displayed art exhibits on the cathedral walls including artists with disabilities and young people, sponsored workshops in dance, and hosted dramatic readings and photography exhibits. Those interested in films can view them and discuss them with others at Second Saturday Cinema. Contact the Rev. Canon Richard Lief (619) 298-7261 x 356 or liefr@stpaulcathedral.org

Communications Committee
The committee facilitates communication within and beyond the congregation. Information vehicles include e-mail bulletins, The Clarion, the website, monthly event updates, audiotapes and compact disk recordings of services, and press releases to local media. Talented volunteers manage the website, write and edit newsletter articles, proofread copy, and photograph events. Meets quarterly. Contact the Rev. Canon Andrew Rank, SSP (619) 542-8660 anbssp@earthlink.net

The Uptown Center is located at 4101-B 30th Street, San Diego, CA 92104 (619) 281-8411. Volunteer opportunities are flexible and can be worked around your schedule.
